Tip of the Day: "When eating out, ask for sauces that may bother your stomach to be put on the side in a separate container so you can control how much you want to eat of it, if any at all."

College Corner: IBDU.org - New Website for IBD Independent-Aged Patients
We want to highlight and share a new interactive resource for those of you who are preparing for college, vocational training, entrance into the workforce, or living independently. It's called IBDU: Graduating to Independence (http://www.ibdu.org/).
CCFA joined with the Children's Digestive Health and Nutrition Foundation and the Starlight Children's Foundation to launch this website, which provides answers for older teens and young adults to real life challenges and educational resources.
The four-featured sections include: Education, Healthcare, Lifestyle and Self-Help with tips, ongoing polling questions, and educational resources for you, your parents and friends, and your healthcare team.
Also check out their YouTube videos (http://www.youtube.com/ibduwebsite) where you can hear patient testimonials and group discussions by individuals about college, work, family and friends and living on their own.
